A before and after of American sugar company/ Maunalei Sugar company #1, a 2ft gauge Baldwin locomotive named "Waiahole". This was the only locomotive to run on Molokai and Lanai- where both of the sugar cane lines failed miserably, after being built with ancient Hawaiian stones and over sacred grounds... Both plantations dried up. Coincidence? Perhaps. Last of its kind? For sure.
