CRRM happenings during the Narrow Gauge convention

August 23, 2017 07:28PM avatar
As we approach the 37th National Narrow Gauge Convention I wanted to let everyone know what is happening at the Colorado Railroad Museum during the convention.
Convention attendees get a discount on admission to the museum when they present their badge.

Things to see aside from our regular collection of rolling stock:
Get up close with D&RGW C-19 #346 and DL&G 2-8-0 #191 at the roundhouse.
See the recently painted Uintah Railway Combine #50.

Operations:
We will be operating Wed-Sun 10-4pm with the fallowing equipment.

Wednesday the 30th, Galloping goose #7.
Thursday the 31st, D&RGW K-37 491 with open rider cars and historic coaches.
Friday the 1st, D&RGW K-37 491 with open rider cars, historic coaches, and B-8.
Saturday the 2nd, D&RGW K-37 491 with open rider cars and historic coaches, and B-8.
Sunday the 3rd, Galloping goose #7.

The D&RGW Business car B-8 will be on the rear of the train Friday and Saturday only. This is a rare chance to ride in a unique piece of history not regularly used at the museum. This is a fundraiser, so all proceeds will fund the ongoing restoration of the car. Seats will be in the Parlor and are limited to 5 people per ride. Each ride is 1 hour long and will consist of 2 trips(6 laps)around the museum. B-8 rides depart at 12:00PM, 1:00PM & 2:00PM again on Friday and Saturday only.

Tickets are $50 each and can be ordered online here, over the phone or in person in our gift shop before the select ride time. Tickets will be available online until the event start. After each event start tickets will still be available in the gift shop.

Hope to see you at the museum.
