Christian, on p.59 of Cafky's "Rails Around Gold Hill" there's an excellent photo taken in 1898 of F&CC #11, named "Strong", on the wye at Florence. This engine became D&RGW #316 eventually. This might at least give you an idea of what 315 looked like in that era. -- Ed
