The crew want a big engine for 116 over Cumbres but two almost as big engines did the job.
That Silverton run was a real mess.
Some tidbits: I finally found some info on J.W. Cullinan. He hired out on 10-10-1905 and promoted to engineer on 11-07-1909. W.I. Marsh was off the railroad in 1946 on disability.C.G. Murray and E.B.Curtis were out on disability in 1948.
Also on the sheets at the Colorado Railroad Museum Frank Frantz was not qualified to be a rotary engineer or pilot. He was qualified for passenger trains and the Monarch Branch.
