yesterday was the last flanger extra for a while.
we ran 4 this week; and moved snow every time! here are a few more pics from yesterdays run. we made it to about a one and a half miles below cascade, "the cement wall" where we met up with MOW who were working on substantial slides with our buldozer, speedswings, regulator.
we spread and flanged to that point, having also picked up the cat flat w/ track hoe at tacoma and shoved up to the crews to also use on the slide at 476.9, which is always the big one.
moving through the first slide area. one mile above tacoma.
cutting off from the flanger consist to deliver the trackhoe to MOW working up the tracks on the slides. after which we will back to rockwood, turn, and head home.
MOW spent a couple more hours working on the slide.
cascade service should be restored saturday.
