I lived in the Chama bunkhouse for a few weeks in 1980 after Ramsey moved out. I recall it had 3 rooms with the stove in the middle room. The interior walls were framed out and covered with some sort of chipboard paneling about 4X8 in size. The seams were covered with 1"x battens. The same stuff was on the ceiling. All of it was painted white.
