The Silver Vista had moved east from Durango on train No. 216 July 6, 1947.
Appears view taken during photo stop at Lobato. Conductor’s report reads: “No. 215 delayed 48 minutes, stop for passengers at MP 304 - Toltec Gorge and Lobato.”
July 15th Durango to Silverton on the mixed train 463 power
Group may have traveled Silverton branch on July 15. Train No. 461 and No. 462 had cars 127, 325 and Silver Vista added to consist making a total of 7 coaches and 1 DE coach passenger (not sure of that designation).
Engine 463 was used with conductor Henry and engineer Squires.
Durango to Silverton 12 loads 1 empty
Silverton to Durango 20 loads 1 empty (10 ore, 2 lead, 8 passenger cars)
July 16-17 RGS Roundtrip Durango-Ridgeway-Durango
July 18 Dgo to Alamosa
On July 18 1947 train No. 216 had 8 cars which may have been the return trip for the group.
