The 1947 Walthers charter to the NMRA convention in Oakland included a Salida / Marshall Pass daytrip. I bought a set of large glossies from a Speed Graphic type. Later gave them to to the NMRA library. If an acquaintance is a member, suggest requesting prints.
One view was of "everybody" in front of, and on the locomotive of the day, while on the turntable.
The leaks in the sheathing and the trackway opening allowed in a lot of light, so some interior detailing may be viewable.
Have you partaken of 12" to the foot labor on the C&TSR?
I did for many Summer sessions. Mostly on structures.
