One of my favorite videos is called Riding the Maine Two-Footers (part one). The film was shot in 1935 by Gus Pratt and shows the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes RR in it's last days. There is also some coverage of the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington which was shut down at the time. The SR&RL footage is amazing with switching, mainline run-bys and cab rides. Most of it is in black and white but there are a few minutes of very rare color. The WW&F scenes were shot going north from Wiscasset on a handcar. A production team in Boston did the digital transfer and added sound. The audio matches just like it was recorded in 1935. Its great stuff.
