Very nice picture. During the time I was there 1996 -2001 this would have been train #22 if returning from Fraser to Skagway in the morning or train #24 if it was in the afternoon. During those years the timetable directions were north and south. Odd numbered trains were northbound and even numbered trains were southbound. Because the Inspectors from Transport Canada were old school they wanted all trains that operated in Canada to be referred in the time table as Northward rather than Northbound or Southward rather than Southbound. As a result the time table would have shown this train as #24 Southward at about MP 26.5.
