How long after 0401 was blown up did they get 04990? I wonder if they even considered rebuilding it or if anyone offered to rebuild it or did they just start looking for a replacment right away... How much did they pay for 04990 and where did the funds come from? How much would it have cost to rebuild 0401... Got me to thinking how much would it cost to build a new short caboose? smiling smiley
