RGS 0401 And 0409 Could Have Traded Places

Back before Christmas, Jason gave us the great news that caboose 04990 was looking pretty good. I ran across a couple of pictures of RGS 0401 and the train display in Boulder. I'm thinking I took these pictures in the mid 70's....but time does fly when you're having fun (?).
0401 could have been rebuilt. It's too bad something could not have been worked out with the 0401 and the 0409 (at Magic Mountain). 0409 was taken down to the frame and a new body built on. 0401 was frame only and most of it went to the dump.
