Pounding piles

Here are a couple of pix of the OB at work on the tail of the Cumbres wye. Maybe they are practicing for pounding in new posts for a rebuilt snowshed? Neat machine and another of those wonders pulled off by the Friends. Not to mention the 315 providing steam, which was restored by the Durango Railroad Historical Society. It was nice to see the Friends, the DRHS, the Galloping Goose Historical Society, and the Colorado Railroad Museum all represented at the Rendezvous, nice cooperation.
