There are stil DeYapp's living in Chama

Elias W. Thatcher built several houses in Chama including the one I lived in at 3rd and Pine.
Roy M. Wright and Joseph L. Knee were killed in the wreck with 169 and 422 near Toltec a couple of years later.

Many of the engineers later worked out of Alamosa.

Max Pacheco's dad was the track foreman.
