Re: Merry Christmas from Gato 1966

Well that June 27th train sure sounds like the one we followed. However the timeline doesn't sound right for the 28th train. I am reasonably certain we left Gato and headed east. However, not having the dates on this stuff could mean I am absolutely incorrect. As stated my dad followed a work train on the Farmington Line, which sounds like the train to Aztec you mentioned. My brother and I were at the Ranch. So, I guess its possible we went on to the Ranch without him, and he showed up a day late after chasing the work train???!!!
My brother was here after Christmas and I showed him the photo. He thinks he may have some dates in his photo collection, so that might solve things. Like I said I have my dads movies and recall a double-exposed series with a work train. A real shame, cause work trains were likely never shot too often, and double exposures ruined two sets of films in the process. This occurred when the film was not flipped over after 25 feet of shooting I think.
Thanks for the help on this.
