I haven't heard anything -- not even rumors -- about new locomotives for Mount Union, green or otherwise. The diesel that Mr. Levin bought a few years ago is still in the enginehouse and is still inoperable, as far as I know. I have heard that there's a company along the dual-gauge part of the line that's interested in shipping by rail, but that's a third-hand report.

I'll see if maybe I can work on setting up a rumor-checking system of some kind. In the decade that I've been paying attention, I'm sure there's been a rumor for every tie on the operating portion of the railroad, possibly for every spike. After a while, all those rumors wear at the employees. It would be nice to be able to check them.
