Thanks for posting another perspective on the little community up on the hill.

I know what you mean about wandering of the grade as you approach the top. I did just that when I hiked the grade up to the mine. You can see it on the aerial map linked below that I made of the trip. At about the middle of the map just below the "Trestle Site" link. All of the light blue items will take you to photos from my hike.
