I'm going to guess that the top picture is circa 1967 since I have pix of 493 that year with the light gray smoke box (LINK). The lower picture might be not too many years after the Red Devil was installed at Antonito, since the supply track ties look sorta new....anyone know when the Red Devil was installed there? It was there when I first visited in 1961. More great pix, keep them coming.
