The following half-dozen pics were at the beginning of a roll, followed by about a half-frame gap,
and then a dozen or so of #498 pulling the very last D&RGW revenue freight into Chama, taken on
08/28/68 at the end of a day when I had shot two rolls of Kodachrome. The only thing I can figure
is that I christened my new Pentax H3v - purchased in early 1968 - with a trip to the OETM, where I
took a few shots and then rewound the film - but not quite all the way - and stuck a note on the can,
"Start with Number Eight"
...
Anyway, here are the first few - taken sometime in the spring or early summer of '68

Actually, the last one above was taken before the others, but since it's a kibbutz I figured it should be at the end
