In the book Rio Grande Narrow Gauge in Color there is a picture
of 278 taken in the 50s in Montrose at the Chamber of Commerce
with the god awful silver paint on the running gear and wheels.
At a train show in Montrose there was a group that was looking
into moving this engine back to Montrose. Anybody know anything
about this?
