TUnfried, You are correct that the backhead is 464. I have been having my son posting all of my photographs when he has time at college to do so. I am trying to get all of my photos and slides out there for others to enjoy. In addition to the narrow gauge stuff, I used to shoot lots of Southern Pacific first and second generation diesel (fat gauge) stuff. Looking at the other photos, It appears that I did shoot them when I was shooting photos of 464 during restoration which would be from 1973-1974. I know John Buchanan did quite a bit of work trying to bring equipment back to its orginal color schemes and lettering, but I don't remember if he changed out the cab. I know Bobby and Randy have the remains of the cab in Fallbrook but I think it was changed out prior to John. I wish we could get John on the site since He has quite a knowledge of the equipment at Knott's. Ted Van Klaveren
