Since traffic is heating up, rails with less seniority are showng up on the train sheets. W.S. McKibben was No. 21 on the conductors' list with a 09-08-17 brakeman's date and a 01-10-23 conductor's date. Alva Lyons was No. 18 on the same list with George Andriko was No. 19 Myron Henry was No. 23.
Two trains were on the Valley Line on the same day with different crews. Engineer B.S. Mitchell on the Moffat turn had a 08-31-18 fireman's date. He was No. 18 on the 7-1-1943 list.
The dispatcher must be planning on running Trains 461-462 from Durango to Silverton and back on the 16th, as he was not allowing the 453 to ramble too far afield. The 485 was too big for the Silverton task.
