As many of you probably know, the green boiler jacket virus spread to Disney's Lone Ranger remake last year. Although the movie had mixed reviews, this dangerous viridian infection managed to jump to Lego's tie-in railroad kit.
We were able to acquire one of these sets for experimentation through Pley, a subscription Lego-by-mail service similar to Netflix. After constructing the railroad scene David and I were "inspired" to add a backdrop suitable to our vacation experience in 2010.
Of course we had to share our carefully arranged evidence with El Russo Loco, who advised us to share it with the experts on this discussion phorum for further evaluation. I'm sure you can all take appropriate measures to protect yourselves against further infection.
Forewarned is fore-armed, of course ... and as Russo likes to remind us, four-armed is half an octopus.
(Edited to note: two of the drive wheels were missing from our set, thus the gap-toothed effect on our constructed locomotive.)
