Jimmy Blouch a question

Jimmy I was in Colorado to go to the 29th narrow gauge convention and see the 315 out of Chama, all good fun. I did how ever take the time to ride the La Veta pass train, which was a realy great trip. The fact that I was in the engine cab from La Veta to Fir was an add plus. The last time I was in a steam engine cab was about 35 or 40 years ago. That was CPR 1057 out of Ottawa. I shovled and the fireman worked the boiler. Thats when I learned that I did not want to run a loco all my life.

So my question is dose your Alamosa train sheets show the train movements over La Veta pass in 1944. I don`t want to get to far into this as it is a little off track, but I thought that it would be neat to see what trains and what power is on these trains would be.

It could be fun.

Jimmy thanks for your work I think it is great.

Bill.
