Roger,
Was fortunate to ride Goose #5 on Saturday Oct. 3rd. from Chama to Antonito. The weather was great and the colors were beautiful, especially on the hillsides south of Los Pinos valley. Larry Spencer and the GGHS crew did their usual outstanding job operating and keeping riders informed of Geese lore while managing to stay ahead of the eastbound scheduled train, despite 15+ photo runbys. I think I saw your "speckled" FJ on the west side of Cumbres taking the posted pictures. Great shots. I would encourage anyone who has not ridden #5 to do so. (as well as prior riders) The cost is reasonable and you get a good meal at Osier thrown in. (Did your FJ get in the middle of a paintball fight?) Hats off to the GGHS crew and the C&TS for operating this color "flight" One day, maybe Goose #7 can operate over Cumbres along with Motor #6 as a support vehicle.
