The sharpest wye track on the D&RGW ng is 24 degree. How was I to guess he wanted to build new actual narrow gauge railroad? Do you know how rare that is? Wayne has the best suggestion as to built it as wide as you can in the land limits. You must check your equipment you need to move over the loop to be sure it will make that turn or can be modifed.
Remember that the gage must be increased 1/4" for each 10 degrees so if you want to build a 20 degree curve, the gauge must be 36.5" and the change from 36" to 36 1/4" must take 31 feet, and another 31' to get into the full curve at 36.5" gage.
You can scale the Durango loop from the aerial photos to see what diameter was used there, as so can the Osier loop be measured for aerial photo maps. Just go Goggle Maps.com
