Off Topic - Civil Engineering for Outdoor Railroads V2 Bridges

Hi,

I was wanting to warn everyone that due to my inability to get a job or grow my
business enough to sustain myself, I may be homeless by the end of the year.

My CD business is currently being set up for continuation by Tap Lines
(available both on eBay and Tap Lines web site). They are still currently
available at my web site.

As for my three books, "The Gainesville Midland and Her Sister Short Lines" and
"Civil Engineering for Outdoor Railroads Volume 1", they will still be available
through Authorhouse web site. At last check, they still came up on the Border's
and Barnes & Noble book search consoles. I expect them to be still available.

As for "Civil Engineering for Outdoor Railroads Volume 2 - Bridges", I am
printing them myself. If I loose my house, it will no longer be available.

"Civil Engineering for Outdoor Railroads Volume 3" was to be both like Volume 1
and a sequel to Volume 2. Several different topics including drive way
crossings, tie spacing for loading, and applications for the complex information
in Volume 2 (such as footings, abutments, tunnels). I doubt I'll be able to
finish it before the end of the year. So it might not be published.

I have been looking for a job since March 1, 2004 and I have not been able to
land one anywhere in the US. I no longer can afford to pay my own relocation
expenses, so Atlanta, GA is what I have left. I have degrees in two fields
(Civil and Electrical engineering) and I have been looking there as well as
Walmart and Home Depot.

I do not know if jobs will become available in the future, but I am planning for
worst case and selling HO and Lionel on eBay. I am planning to try to keep my
machine shop for a while longer - I am trying to manufacture some HO brass
models.

If you want books or CDs from me, please consider purchasing them soon. If you
have any job openings, please let me know. Also, if you would like 21.787 acres
of raw-undeveloped land on NS (nee-Southern Railway) on the Washington to
Atlanta mainline in GA, please let me know. I've been trying to sell it for 5
years with no takers.

Thanks for your time.
