Re: Lodging in Chama - THE HOTEL & Shops

Hi, Norm -

Roger Hogan - the C&TS's "official photographer" and VERY frequent poster here - and his
wife Barbara run THE (Shamrock) HOTEL & Shops, which is excellent and is the unofficial
headquarters for visiting railfans. It is right across the street from the depot.
800/982-8679.

WARNING! I'm staying there Sept. 18-21 myself.

Since you mention chili, you probably are remembering Foster's, which is older and the rooms
are not quite as spiffy, but which has a very popular restaurant & bar on the first floor.
