I believe this is what you are referring to (and you are right about it being
loosely based on an L-131).
It is 15" gauge and it can be yours for only $100,000. You can see an add for it over at the website "Discover Live Steam" in the "For Sale" section.
For some narrow gauge content there is also the K-36 pictured below for sale at the same website. As the ad disclaimer says, "This is not a photo of the real engine."
This one can be yours for the low, low sum of $225,000. Call Bruno Platzer if you want to take the time to collect the spare change from your couch to pick this baby up. I asked my wife and she says
NO given that we paid less for our house than the asking price for this gourgeous locomotive. I wonder if our couch would fit on the tender...At least we would have a heater. Talk about inflation. I believe he picked it up a few years ago for around $65,000.
