It is originally from the West Side. The West Side had a small fleet of them for various purposes and the YMSP has a few which have been modified to be more tourist friendly. In addition I believe there are a couple that are/were in private hands as well as one at the Midwest Central RR.

The WSL had a number of vehicles of the sort including my personal favorite:
