As an interesting note, Stan Rhine was pictured in the early shot by the water tank and was also in attendance last Saturday for the 50th Anniversary celebration. I chatted with him for a couple of minutes while he was researching some Rio Grande narrow gauge history. He wrote the article in 1971 about the evolution of the Galloping Geese, and I hope he can be encouraged to publish something related to his latest efforts.

I will leave it up to him to say more, but I'll bet that Vic Stone would be proud of him.
