I just got a report that the total passenger count today was 629, which I presume includes the Moonlight Special. The count for Sunday is over 700, again presumably including a Moonlight special. Overall, this has a good chance of being the busiest Labor Day weekend ever on the C&TS. Hopefully Earl might have an opportunity to tell how the railroad survived it, I suspect there are some busy folks in Chama and Antonito right now. Ridership to date through Friday was 36,412, which is about 5000 ahead of where we were at this time last year.
