Getting ready to paint a model of this combine. Any one familiar with the prototype paint scheme? Was the underbody black or pullman green. What about the exterior hardware? Was it painted the same as the car? ie: the brake wheel in the rear; the grab irons; hand rails; etc. Have only 2 B&W pictures so difficult to tell. The pictures are in Poole's NG Pictorial Vol 3. The pictures also show some lettering on the trucks. Anyone know what this lettering is? Need answer ASAP.
