Boy, the hot news of last year was that the #40 2-8-0 was fixed up and leased for five years to the White Pass & Yukon Route. The #44 is in the process of being returned to service. There have been periodic postings on the board about the status of the work. I seem to recall one that said was off and into a boiler shop.
This last April the White Pass once agin made use of its steam rotary to get press exposure. This year the rotary was pushed by double headed steam: the #40 and its own 2-8-2.

The two engines were once on the International Railways of Central America in Guatemala.
