The bolts the Rio Grande put in held real well, too. When we went to remove them, two of our volunteers decided to tackle the job. I had told them what needed to be done, but hadn't given them much guidance as to how to do it. When I was able to go see how they were doing, they had made a steel fabrication that sat on the frame and held a small bottle jack at the right angle to push against the bolts.At that point I did something you should never do to volunteers - I laughed! They wanted to know what was so funny. I told them those bolts won't even feel that little bottle jack! The bolts didn't budge; we ended up drilling through them, then playing a torch flame through them. Their bottle jack then could push what was left out.
