Thanks, your information was most appreciated. I did check John Hungerford's slides of the 14 and she had the "as built" front end.
I'll look forward to visiting your area for the first time, either on Saturday afternon, the 20th or Sunday morning, depends when the airshow at Rexburg finishes.
I know very little about the branch where the 30" 2-8-0's worked except that the junction with the standard gauge was Munoz and the line did climb out of the valley through a forest of pines to get to its destination.
