I looked up the pictures in Narrow Gauge Pictorial vol 3 again and they are all under 9200 or over 9700. I also looked up in sloans book and he has them classified as class 11c and 11d and does say that some of them exsisted until 1952 which I guess answers my original question. I did notice a new variation while I was at it. On page 63 of the same book there is a picture of 4 crazy characters repairing a gondola at Chama in the 1920's. The car is1784 and it has a wood striker and the brake platform is between the bottom board and the second rather than between the second and third boards as all cars now are.The picture is interesting also because it is the only picture I have ever seen of the repair pit in its active days. The pit is still there but falling apart.
