Thats a great idea, a way for people to donate directly to their desired organization. It would even leave a paper trail for tax time. But I think that IF the money was centralized and managed by an investment company, much like a pension fund there could be an opportunity to generate the real cash that most restorations need. The basic idea is sound. Execution is the problem.
