This is not about bringing fire back to any one locomotive.Either NG or NNG.This is about funding said project.A man told me many years ago,that if I wanted something BAD enough I would find away to get the job done.If you are waiting for Donald Trump or the like to show up spend cashy money that has little or no prospect of returning there money and more,two words dream on.

So how about a "National Steam Locomotive Restortion Fund"?

A central place to fund the bringing back steam locomotives to life.The moneys held until, with names and amounts noted,it becomes time to rebuild.But funded mostly by WE THE PEOPLE...

On funding in general...note to the CRRM...think PayPal..why ? It's easy ,fast and did I say easy?Easy for both sides.I am sitting at my computer and think I have an extra $$$$.So why get out the checkbook,dig out a stamp,and an envelope?A few key strokes later you'd have your money.Of course a big glass jar works well for walk in people as well.

Make it easy and people will give,also pennys do count.
