Dateline: Lobato

Just got back from following the well-attended Wild West Train downgrade from Deadwood/Lobato. There looked to be 100+ riders on the train, and that didn't include the marshals 'n' deputies 'n' such.

At Lobato Trestle, there were about a dozen people, most of them from the C&TSRR track crew, but several of whom I took to be the structural experts examining the bridge.

I've heard nothing about the status of the trestle. I have confidence the Railroad will let us know what's going on in a timely manner.

This is still a GREAT Railroad! :-)
