You might want to look at this blog for the Perus-Pirapora Railroad near Sao Paulo, Brazil. This railroad is the EBT of the south, 600mm (2-footer) with many Baldwin, Alco, and Porter steam locomotives that have sat dormant since the early 1980s. Recent work by NGDF contributor Thor Windbergs has helped them to revived a small diesel, get it running, and relocated it from one of the storage locations to the current museum site.
