T/O, Ward and Betty Kimball
DID See Emma on the turntable. Ward and Betty and their entire family were our guests of honor at the turntable dedication. Ward and Betty rode in Emma when she was pushed onto the turntable for the first time at the ceremony.
Ward and Betty not only donated us their trains, but funded the construction of the Grizzly Flats Engine House and the Gallows Turntable as well. We have several pictures in the Gazette of Ward cutting the ribbon on the turntable, and he and Betty on the pilot. It was a great day to remember as we lost Ward not long after that.
