Jim,
The ICS books are very informative, but finding a complete set of originals can be expensive and time consuming.
The Little River Locomotive Co. has reprinted 30 volumes from the series. They sell for $14.95 each, but they offer the complete set at a big discount, for those who need it all. They also have reprinted "The Locomotive Up To Date" by McShane another great source of information for engineers, firemen and shopmen.
