IIRC, there were only a few fans chasing the last runs. Ernie Robart was there, of course, Drew (obviously), and Olaf Rasmussen showed up all the way from Hanford, Washington. Maybe a half-dozen in all chasing #483 & #484 from Alamosa to Chama. Even fewer chased #498 eastbound beyond Cumbres as Ernie & Olaf turned around at Los Pinos and chased #483 to Durango and then Farmington. Just Roger Callender and I followed the cowpath south of Antonito toward Lava Tank; my Triumph TR-4 "jeep" got us only as far as the small trestle at MP 286.72 (See [ngdiscussion.net]).
