I didn't bother to reply to this when it was posted two days ago, but now I regret it. Between the ages of eight and eleven years old, I was completely obsessed with this ship. I knew how many boilers she had, why the fourth funnel was fake, the exact layout of entire decks, and I watched every film, read every book, and played the few games about it. I also attended the traveling exhibit (the best one in the world at the time) and traveled all the way to Memphis from central Texas when I was in elementary school. To my teachers, I was knows as "that weird kid who really likes the Titanic". Ever since I grew out of that phase, I had pretty much forgotten how enamored I was with Titanic, with only a few old books about her laying around to remind me that I even cared about her. Thank you for posting this on the 97th eve of her death, and the 1500 souls who died with her. It reminded me why I cared, and why I should still care.
