NG passenger car trucks - questions.

I realize that the questions I will ask are pure speculation, but thought I would get some ideas.

Recently someone brought up the subject of obtaining passenger car trucks. Should this happen, the visual appearance of the C&TS coaches would be greatly improved. My questions are:

1. Would passenger car trucks improve the riding qualities of the coaches to which they are attached?

2. Would passenger car trucks with roller bearings (WP&Y) add to the capacity of hauling cars up the Cumbres 4% grade, as a function of reduced rolling resistance?
