I personnally suspect that the "damage done to the infrastructure" of Southern Copper/Ferromex is an excuse to get the Union out of their mines. I've read and heard alot of things about Ferromex, and I try not to form an opinion, but when you see a pattern of the same schenanigans coming from every mine and railroad they operate, it is more than suspicious. They are clearly not a 'people oriented" organization. I am glad that someone is taking a lead in saving the Little Giant, and I certainly don't want to interfere with their efforts in any way. I will be back in Cananea sometime towards the end of summer and will bring a tripod and better camera, who knows, maybe the next guard at the gate will give in to my blatent attempts at bribery!
