I checked Colorado Rail Annual 24 and it does have a couple of builder shots. No shots of them in transit though. There is an interesting shot on page 186 of a trainload of NG passenger cars loaded on flats behind an NdeM std gauge arriving in Mexico City. I also like the photo on page 13 which shows a small 4 wheel Jackson & Sharp smoking car on a little 4 wheel yard dolly. Those first cars in 1871 were tiny.

The annual lists a few delivery dates but nothing on transit time.
