Seeing that you are in Albuquerque and are missing the steam locomotives, you might want to look into becoming involved with the group in Albuquerque that is restoring the AT&SF 4-8-4 Northern, #2926 to running condition. I am sure they could use your experience and expertise. And, it is one magnificent locomotive. Here is a link to their website:
