It has come to my attention that Henry Sorenson has passed away last Tuesday.

Henry was a Pioneer in steam preservation having restored and operated two N.G. locomotives a 0-4-2 Vulcan, the "Mattole" and the Kiso Forest railway #6 a 0-4-2 Baldwin. Henry was in attendance at the 1999 Railfair with both of these locomotives in Sacremento. during this event he donated them both to the California state Railroad Museum.Such a gift.

Thank you Henry for Sharing your love of steam and for leaving such a great legacy for all to enjoy.
